According to Merriam- Webster Online:

  1. being such in essence or effect though not formally recognized or admitted (a virtual dictator)
  2. of, relating to, or using virtual memory
  3. of, relating to, or being a hypothetical particle whose existence is inferred from indirect evidence (virtual photons)
  1. a curved goat's horn overflowing with fruit and ears of grain that is used as a decorative motif emblematic of abundance
  2. an inexhaustible store : ABUNDANCE
  3. a receptacle shaped like a horn or cone

So the way I look at it, using definition #2 for each word, my web site is an inexhaustible store of, relating to, or using virtual memory. So let's thank Merriam and Webster for helping to clear that up.

But let's ignore Merriam and Webster for a minute. The World Wide Web has a lot of information out there. I don't pretend to be your next Yahoo! or something, but I'd just like to share a whole lot of things that I find useful on the WWW. I've segregated the areas by category like a Yahoo! or a Mining Company, but only because it makes sense, not because I'm trying to be one of them. I don't have the energy, resources or money to do all that work. I just want to have my own little piece of the internet and have some fun.
